Visit to Doko Recylers-2076

The students of grade 8 visited Material Recovery Facility (MRF) of Doko Recyclers, Sanothimi, Bhaktapur as the part of their field visit for their project 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle). The major objective of this visit was to make the students familiar with solid waste and methods of solid waste management. In this visit, the students visited different facilities at the MRF and observed different techniques and instruments. They also observed aerobic technique of compost manure formation. They performed paper cutting activity and compost manure formation in smart dustbin. Besides, they attained a ppt presentation on waste and its management along with highly motivating speech regarding “Starting waste segregation from home helps in better waste management.”
