In alignment with Golden Peak High School’s commitment to Project-Based Learning (PBL) and promoting physical refreshment through swimming, our Grade 10 students recently participated in a dynamic field visit that integrated both education and wellness.
The journey began at the ancient Changunarayan Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its cultural and historical significance. Students engaged in research activities, observation tasks, and interactive discussions as part of their ongoing project work related to Nepal’s heritage, architecture, and cultural preservation. This hands-on experience helped students explore learning beyond textbooks, developing critical thinking and collaborative inquiry skills.
After the educational tour, students headed to Kathmandu Fun Valley for a refreshing swimming session. The recreational time allowed students to relax, bond with peers, and enjoy a well-deserved break—supporting both their physical and emotional well-being.
This field visit successfully blended learning, exploration, and fun—reflecting our goal to make education engaging, meaningful, and holistic through Project-Based Learning strategies.
