The International Youth Day is celebrated on 12 August each year. In the same context, this day is celebrating this year, 2021 AD, with the theme “Transforming Food Systems: Youth Innovation for Human and Planetary Health”. This day is celebrating with the aim of marking that the success of any global effort is not possible without the meaningful participation of young people.
Young people of any country are great assets. In fact, they are the future of the country and represent it on all levels. The role of youth in nation-building is more important than we imagine. The intelligence and work of the youth will lead the country on the road to success. Since every citizen is equally responsible, so is the youth. Youths are the pillars of a country since they have a prominent role to drive the nation towards development. Young people are very energetic and enthusiastic. They have the ability to learn and adapt to the environment. They are also ready to learn and act in it in order to achieve their goals. Youths can bring about social reforms and improvements in society. The nation needs the meaningful participation of young people to lead the country to progress by achieving targets.
It is a clear crystal fact that the development of a country requires the active and meaningful participation of young people. It does not matter in which area youths want to move forward. Young people are in demand whether it is a technical or sports of any other field. It is up to us to help young people play this role properly. We need to make all young people aware of their power and role in nation-building. But young people today face too many problems. We have to give them different opportunities in all areas so that they can be easily achieve their goals. They should be given all possible opportunities and they need motivation, inspiration and encouragement so that they become ready take up the challenges in order to be successful.
To cut the matter short, young people have the power to build a nation. So, they should be motivated, inspired, and provided with opportunities. The zeal and enthusiasm of youths must be properly channeled so that they participate meaningfully to develop a nation physically, socially, and culturally and hence the nation will be at the next level.
