The education imparted to the students of grade 9 and 10 is secondary education. At GPS, government syllabus is strictly followed along with some extra subject materials to develop the personality and enhance knowledge and skill of the students. The optional subjects taught in this level at GPS are Opt Math, Accountancy and Population Education. Interactive and Inductive methods are mostly used with the focus on an individual of every class. Audio-visual aids are most commonly used at GPS to concretize students’ knowledge of various subjects. Practical/project works and presentations have great importance to reflect theoretical knowledge of the secondary level students into practicality. Subject based excursions and tours are highly emphasized to accumulate cultural, geographical and scientific knowledge along with behavioral and emotional development in the secondary level students at GPS.
