Happy Teachers’ Day!

Wishing all the respected teachers Happy Teachers Day!!! ( गुरु पूर्णिमा को शुभकमना) !!!

Every time I try to look out for some relatable adjectives that could possibly fit in the teacher’s personality, I utterly feel helpless as the words seem to fall short that define them. I’ll try my best though. It’s rightly said that a good teacher is like a candle-it consumes itself to light the way for others. Hats off to all the teachers for putting your undying faith in us irrespective of our weaknesses, tantrums and mediocrity. The way you have molded us into a good human being is beyond any word.

Teacher’s day is one of the most celebrated days in schools. It’s a day when you appreciate teachers for having a tremendous impact on your life. Teacher’s day is a day that is celebrated all over the country on the 5th of September. It is a day celebrated to extend our appreciation and gratitude towards them and their hard work. Students should respect their teachers, and the Teacher’s Day is the perfect occasion to show a teacher how much we are indebted to them. They are the best mentors who not only teach you the lessons from the textbooks but lessons of life as well. Teacher’s day is all about paying tribute to them. There are multiple occasions and each of them is combined with a distinct celebration and it is a perfect time for strengthening the relations. One such occasion that celebrates the divine relationship between students and teachers is teachers’ day. There are multiple mythological references where Teachers have been regarded as a god. They rightly say:

गुरुर्ब्रह्मा ग्रुरुर्विष्णुः गुरुर्देवो महेश्वरः
गुरुः साक्षात् परं ब्रह्म तस्मै श्री गुरवे नमः

Teachers are the ones who need to be accredited and acknowledged for the valuable contributions given to students to create good citizens. Teaching is considered as one of the noblest professions as it contributes a greater educated population to the world. Teachers are the ones who choose their careers to spread knowledge and wisdom. Teachers work hard throughout the year to nurture students well. In the lives of teachers, students always come first.

A Teacher is someone who acts as a guide and inspiration to people both young and old. He/she is charged with the responsibility of creating awareness as well as opening the mind of people by instilling values, morals, and ethics. Teachers’ efforts are recognized during the teacher’s day. They shape minds, and we annually celebrate their contribution to the development of society in the form of Teachers’ Day across the world. Teachers are the only people who inspire millions of students through generations. And also render life-transforming tips to pave the path of light. Again, Happy Teachers Day to our reverent teachers.

Thanking all our respected teachers.
